Daffodil Institute of IT, Chattogram (DIIT Chattogram), established in 2000, has been a pioneer in providing high-quality education in Bangladesh. Initially located at IFCO Complex, GEC, Chattogram, the institute moved to various locations to meet the growing demand for education, including House No #2, Road no #3, East Nasirabad in 2009, and Bepari Para, Agrabad Access Road in 2013, where it established its first permanent campus. In 2016, DIIT Chattogram moved to its current location at Daffodil Tower, 94, Sheikh Mujib Road, Agrabad, Chattogram, where it has expanded its operations and departments. DIIT is affiliated with NCC Education UK and the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB), offering a wide range of diploma and degree programs. Its affiliation with BTEB includes programs in Computer Technology, Electrical Technology, Architecture Technology, Civil Technology, Mechanical Technology, Automobile Technology, and Tourism & Hospitality Management. DIIT’s remarkable achievements include the Golden Period of the 2011-12 session, where the institution witnessed exceptional academic success and student achievements. The institute has also contributed significantly to global education through its IsDB Study Center and Bangladesh Open University Study Center. Noteworthy milestones include the establishment of the Sheikh Kamal IT Training & Incubation Center, EDGE Project in collaboration with Bangladesh Computer Council, and successful management of online classes during the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to top-tier results and record-breaking admission flow. DIIT's students benefit from various scholarships, including the World Bank STEP Project, offering a 4,800/- (Per semester) scholarship to all engineering diploma students. DIIT continues to innovate and grow, offering professional short courses and affiliations with national and international institutions.
